Colin has been fitting, adjusting and repairing saddles for two decades. As an experienced horseman who has ridden, competed, and managed both riding schools and hunt clubs for many years, he is sensitive to the needs of both horses and riders. Colin can adjust flocking, change foam panels to wool panels, replace billets or a worn seat and often fix a broken tree as well!

For customers who are local to Rhode Island, eastern Massachusetts and other parts of New England, Colin makes barn visits where he can make flocking adjustments, simple repairs or can bring a Duett wide saddle for a customer to try. Colin often travels to Florida in the winter, where he can provide the same services.

Duett Deutsche Sattlerei is the Wide Saddle Specialist. Duett offers many different models in a wide variety of tree widths (from 32 cm to 42 cm) and seat sizes (16" - 20") ...other sizes can be ordered. Duett saddles are comfortable, reasonably priced, well crafted and unique in design. There are saddles for dressage, jumping, trail riding and general purpose riding.
